Samsung quietly launched the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024
Recently, Samsung quietly introduced a new version of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in the Romanian (European) market. Although the price and launch date in other markets have not yet been revealed, compared to the 2022 version, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 is not much different.
In terms of design, the device has a 10.4 inch TFT screen, 2000 x 1200 resolution, 8MP rear camera, 5MP selfie camera and included S Pen. The device comes in three colors including gray, pink and mint.

Regarding configuration, Samsung did not mention the specific parameters of the chip, the company only revealed that this tablet is equipped with an “eight-core processor” chip, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal memory (expandable with a card). microSD), 7,040mAh battery, 15w wired charging, optional LTE connectivity, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Although there is no breakthrough in specifications, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 is still considered a pretty good mid-range Android tablet. Previously, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite version 2022 was launched in the US market with a selling price of 349 USD.

In the domestic market, Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will compete with iPad Gen 9, whose selling price for the 64GB Wi-Fi version is 6.85 million VND. With the 4G 256GB version, the listed price is 12.49 million VND. iPad Gen 9 is equipped with the A13 Bionic chip, which can meet most of today's popular tasks such as watching movies, surfing the web, playing games or can even render 4K videos.
Besides, iPad Gen 10 is also a competitor when being sold by stores for 9.69 million VND for the Wi-Fi version and 13.39 for the 5G 64GB version. One of the other obvious changes on the iPad Gen 10 is that the screen size has been increased to 10.9 inches. In addition, the screen ratio is also adjusted to 3:2 for more convenient vertical and horizontal use. iPad Gen 10 is equipped with the A14 Bionac chip like the iPhone 12.
Android tablet manufacturers often focus on the low-cost and mid-range segment
In the Vietnamese market, surveyed at Hoang Ha Mobile store system, Samsung tablets are priced from 2.79 – 23.75 million VND. Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 is currently the line with the lowest selling price with prices starting from 2.79 million VND for the 4GB/64GB Wifi version. Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 4G/4GB/64GB version (2022) is listed at 5.39 million VND. Galaxy Tab S9 FE Wifi 6GB/128GB has a selling price of 8.55 million VND. Highest 23.75 million VND for Galaxy Tab S9 Plus 5G 12GB/256GB tablet.
In the domestic market, Android tablet manufacturers are focusing on the low-cost and mid-range segments. This is a segment with great demand and competition is not too fierce. Android tablet products in this segment are usually priced from 3 million to 10 million VND.
