Previously, scenarios and other documents were done on a laptop at the hotel before filming, and since portability was important on set, tablets or smartphones were mainly used. While using the Galaxy Book 4 Pro, I was able to connect the tablet and smartphone as if they were one device. Although it is called convergence, I was satisfied with being able to control and connect everything with one product. In addition, considering user convenience, the fact that users can use it conveniently and freely according to their own situation was also an attractive point.
Q. How can the Galaxy Book 4 series’ connection experience be effectively used in actual movie scenes?
This happened while filming the movie “Unofficial Operation” in Morocco. The location team had been filming various places in Morocco with smartphones, but because the local internet situation was not good, it was not easy for the staff to get together and check the images. Additionally, it was difficult to connect a smartphone to a TV or monitor due to equipment compatibility issues. In the end, it took too much time, and I remember making the staff wait.

In places where the Internet connection is unstable, it is quite inconvenient to check images taken with a phone on another device because it takes a lot of time to transfer and download the data. However, the Galaxy Book 4 can be used across a variety of devices by connecting tablets and smartphones. As long as it is on the same network, it can be used as one product, increasing work efficiency. For example, after climbing to the top of a mountain and taking an image with a smartphone, you immediately work on detailed images on the Galaxy Book 4 series. Q. I am curious about what you consider important when looking at a laptop and your first impressions of the Galaxy Book 4 series.
I mainly work on scenarios and documents, and also use a laptop for simple editing. Nevertheless, the first thing to look at is ‘design’. I unboxed the Galaxy Book 4 with my family, and my family's first impression was that it was 'pretty.' It was portable and the size was suitable for watching videos. I thought these points were exquisitely executed devices.
I edited the high-definition video shot with the Galaxy S24 Ultra in one go into the editing program installed on the Galaxy Book 4. I was very satisfied with no deterioration in picture quality, and it was nice to watch it on a high-definition display. Oh, and it's a high-definition display, but it's also a touch screen. Usually, scripters listen to the lines and write down any mistakes or new parts by hand, but since they are humans, they can make mistakes and it takes a long time.
