Following the success of previous years' competition, Solve for Tomorrow 2024 will be implemented within 7 months, from March 27, 2024 to October 26, 2024 and is divided into two groups: Group A for middle school students, and group B for high school students with 3 rounds of competition.

Students will apply STEM knowledge and Design Thinking to find and realize creative solutions to solve current social problems.

This year, in addition to the Environment and Health fields like every year, the contest will expand the topic so that teams can find solutions to issues of supporting disadvantaged groups in order to provide opportunities for support to all. everyone, leaving no one behind.

In particular, in the context of Vietnam's efforts to promote activities to support students and start-ups, teams participating in this year's Solve for Tomorrow competition are also encouraged to create models aimed at development. sustainable development and creating products that can meet market needs.

Participating in the competition, students and instructors will be trained in design thinking through online and in-person training programs. In addition, the TOP 40 teams will also be guided by a team of senior professional advisors who are leading experts in Vietnam and Samsung, and will be able to participate in direct training programs at three locations. The domain helps cultivate knowledge of soft skills and business-related skills.

With the desire to popularize STEM knowledge, for the first time, Samsung deployed the “Solve for Tomorrow Bus” Roadshow to directly reach schools in three regions, while creating opportunities for students to experience technology. , a science experiment right at the school where the Solve for Tomorrow bus stops.

It is expected that Solve for Tomorrow 2024 will attract about 160,000 students and teachers to register with more than 2,200 exam entries sent from middle and high schools across the country.

The total prize value of this year's competition is up to 8 billion VND with many attractive prize categories. In addition, schools with first-place winning teams will be sponsored by Samsung to build a STEM Creative Space worth 70,000 USD.

Solve for Tomorrow was initiated by Samsung Global in 2010 in the US. In Vietnam, the Solve for Tomorrow contest was held for the first time in 2019. Up to now, the contest has become an annual creative thinking playground for middle and high school students. ages 12 to 18. By the end of 2023, after 5 years of organization, the program has attracted more than 300,000 students and teachers to register, receiving nearly 5,200 entries.
