The new AI inverter compressor is redesigned to increase the radius of rotating parts, while increasing machine inertia by up to 4.1 times compared to conventional compressors.(4). This means the compressor is able to maintain power for a longer period of time, helping to save more energy when the temperature in the refrigerator is kept at a moderate level. The compressor also helps the refrigerator reduce noise up to 5 times and operate more quietly than conventional models(5) thanks to new control technology.

Additionally, the Super Large Bottom Freezer Refrigerator supports energy saving mode in SmartThings Energy(6)capable of reducing energy consumption by up to 15%.(7). SmartThings AI Energy mode also allows users to easily check daily, weekly and monthly power consumption, and can even estimate monthly electricity bills. If power consumption exceeds the set estimate, this mode can also proactively save energy(8). Furthermore, Enerygy AI mode is capable of optimizing compressor speed and defrost cycle frequency based on usage and ambient conditions, ensuring that users can always enjoy real food. Fresh food for a long time.

Samsung launched this product model to increase competitiveness in both capacity and design. To increase the usable capacity for users when owning a refrigerator with a larger width than a conventional type, Samsung has applied SpaceMax™ technology – a characteristic of Samsung refrigerators. This technology uses thin partitions and effective insulation to increase storage capacity while maintaining a stable temperature. The additional storage space also does not affect the refrigerator's exterior design, as the relatively compact size creates more space in the user's home.
